  A very large, friendly community of writers.  There are information boards, classes, chat rooms... and a lot of fun
• Vision for Writers
  This ezine has several hundred articles in the back issues, besides a great new issue every two months
• DAZ 3D
  For those of us who cannot draw, the ability to use the 3D generated models has opened a new avenue of expression
• ArtZone
  A fun community of artists with galleries, chat rooms, blogs, groups and more.
• NaNoWriMo
  National Novel Writing Month draws thousands of people from around the world for a one month writing marathon.  I'm usually there from October until mid-December, but the site is open year-round.
• LibraryThing
  A truly wonderful site that allows you to catalogue your book collection, contact others with similar tastes, and generally have fun.
